WENDY'S BIO

Wendy grew up in Ashland, Ohio and relocated to Mansfield, Ohio in 2001.  Wendy works in a variety of mediums! (Woodworking, painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, and digital design).

 

Wendy's Art Experience:

• 1994- Present: Freelance Artist & Designer, privately commissioned for murals, portraits, drawings, paintings, interior/landscape design, web design, graphic design, social media marketing & photography.

• Undergrad: Worked as an Art Assistant for the Department of Art @ the Ohio State University-Mansfield.

• 2000: Interned at 2 local not-for-profit arts organizations.

• 2001: Assisted lead artist, John Thrasher, in painting the "Johnny Appleseed Mural", located in downtown Mansfield.

• 2004:  Assisted lead artist, Joel Morrow, in painting the "United We Stand Mural" for the United Auto Worker's.

• 2014: Commissioned by RCDG to create artwork for 3 storefronts, located in downtown Mansfield.

• 2014-2015: Lead artist, restoring the "Shawshank Redemption Jesus Mural" at the historic Mansfield Reformatory.

• March 2015: "Public Art Preview Show" at the Richland County Carrousel.

• 2016 - 2017: N.E.C.I.C/R.O.A.R. Art Academy Mentor. (Teaching art to Mansfield City School students, grades 7-12).

• Spring 2016: Lead Artist, N.E.C.I.C/R.O.A.R. "Dream, Hope, Create, Love Mural", located in downtown Mansfield.

• 2017: Contract (for FMLA)- Assistant Gallery Coordinator, The Pearl Conard Art Gallery, The Ohio State University-Mansfield.

• 2019: Assisted lead artist, Joel Morrow, in painting the "Castamba Mural" located in downtown Shelby, Ohio.

• 2019: Lead Artist, American Legion Murals, Shelby, Ohio.

• 2021: Lead Artist, The Marvin Memorial Library Mural, Shelby, Ohio.

JOEL'S BIO

Joel grew up in Bellville, Ohio and relocated to Mansfield, Ohio in 2001.  He enjoys woodworking, painting, drawing, ceramics/sculpture and digital design. 

 

Joel's Art Experience:

• 1994- Present: Professional Artist, privately commissioned for murals, drawings, paintings, and digital designs.
