We were commissioned to paint “The Jesus Mural” at the Historic Mansfield Reformatory. This mural was featured in the movie Shawshank Redemption as a set backdrop. You can partially see it during the scene where Andy asks for a tiny rock hammer for his hobby of sculpting stones and, after a screening of Gilda (1946), he asks Red for his first poster of Rita

Hayworth. This mural is only viewable during ghost hunts or special tours at the Reformatory.
