This mural was a service-learning project where we mentored students (Grades 7-12) through NECIC’s ROAR program. The ROAR program aimed to provide students with the opportunity to work alongside professionals in the community to garner skills for future employment. This program was grant funded through the Ohio Department of Education. We taught students how to create art for retail & then led them through the mural painting process.

This mural was removable and painted on eight wooden boards (2ft. X 8ft.) It features scenes from the north end of Mansfield, Ohio. Also featured are graffiti style people,

architecture and landscapes. We spray painted and hand-painted this mural. Total size of mural: 8Ft X 18 FT
